Mildred Elaine Wolford

Millie, age 84, originally of Taunton, Massachusetts, living the last 50 years in Irvine, California, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was a brilliant, warm, and kindhearted soul. During her life, Millie made a true impact in her community – from her tireless involvement with her church and with the school where she taught for over 40 years (Orangewood Academy) to the lifelong love of music she inspired in her hundreds of piano students. Millie brought every holiday and season to life with not only her festive decorations but also her exceptional cooking. With her caring spirit, Millie had a unique, innate ability to make everyone she encountered feel truly valued. Above all, Millie put her family at the center of her life. As a dedicated mother, wife, sister, aunt and grandmother, there was nothing that Millie wouldn’t do for her family, and she was dearly loved for that. Millie touched the lives of so many in this world and she will be greatly missed.

The family will be celebrating Millie’s life on Saturday, July 30, at 2pm at the church she and her husband Ron attended – Anaheim Seventh Day Adventist. In lieu of flowers, we know Millie would have greatly appreciated a donation to the church or Orangewood instead.
