Rachel Arellano was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was called to God on February 19, 2022 at age 58, passing away peacefully surrounded by her husband, son and daughter at her side and her immediate family holding vigil. Her devotion and love of family, spirit of courage and faith in God will forever be remembered.
She was born to Eulogio and Valentina Cavazos on April 15, 1963, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the youngest of her siblings Robert, Rosie, Rebecca and Janie. Rachel’s life journey led her to meet the love of her life, Victor Arellano. They were happily married for 38 years. Together they shared a storybook life full of love and happiness, blessed with three children Rodolfo, Michael and Christina and four grandchildren, Victor Arellano, Jaxon, Mark and Sophia Collins.
Rachel was a beautiful, kind and loving soul both inside and outside. Her passion for life was evident when she spent time with family laughing, dancing, sharing meals and making beautiful memories.
