Rhea Gene Rutz

Rhea Rutz, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 31, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Rhea was originally from Texas but moved to California in 1955. She was a long time resident of Yorba Linda. A family woman who was a housewife and mother. She enjoyed camping in Mountain Lakes with her friends. Rhea leaves behind three daughters Beverly, Barbara and Tammy, son-in-law Rod, four grandchildren, Teresa, Tyler, Hayden and Sarah by love, three great grandchildren Gabby, Gianna and Georgia, two step-grandchildren Ryan and Laurie and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her loving husband Burl and son-in-laws Bruce and Tom. Rhea regularly attended the Salvation Army Church in Tustin Ranch until she was no longer able to attend. We, her family, thank and praise God for her life, and her positive outlook and wonderful sense of humor will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

A celebration of life for Rhea will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park Mortuary, 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705, followed by a reception at 1:00 PM.
