Thank you for creating and raising such amazing children, for loving my brother as one of your own, and for always making me so feel special. I will never forget your sense of humor and your unbelievable strength.

 I'm forever grateful to have had the honor of being your niece. I will never forget when you came to visit me by surprise. You kept me laughing and smiling. Thank you for everything, my beautiful Tía Rosita. 

Mama Rosa we will be forever grateful for the love you gave Gabriel and in turn to Miguel and I. You and your family were a blessing and I couldn't a better place then in your home for him.  The love you had for your kids extended to your daycare kids and had such a positive impact!

I am still waiting for a text from Tere telling me you made Gorditas for lunch. There is no way this is real.

You took me in as a part of your family at only 16 years old (1996) with open arms. In the last 26 years, I saw a woman with an amazing sense of humor that was hard as a rock. A woman with the strength of an army yet gentle as a cloud. They said to share a memory. It is impossible to share just one memory. Once I start typing 1 story, the other memories seem to be running down my cheek wanting to be heard. Instead I will just praise the incredible feat of raising 5 amazing children and utmost appreciation the laughter you brought even though you might have been gray inside. For being a strong foundation when things got shaky. It is said that a woman can withstand a lot more than man in several scenarios and I am first to acknowledge that. Yet even then, your ability to keep fighting when it was easier to give up goes way beyond what I can only attempt to fathom.

This isn’t goodbye. This isn’t even a I’ll see you later or when it’s my time. You are a part of everyone and are in anything that we do. All the stories and lessons you roughy all of us are now part of us and our daily life. Hence, you will walk with us every single day from now on.

One of my favorite memories of my Tia Rosita is that one of her "songs" was 1985 by Bowling for Soup. I remember she had it as her ringtone, she would sing along with it, and at her 60th birthday we had her out on the dance floor dancing to her song. I will always remember how happy she was, just dancing with her loved ones to a song about the 80's. She was always so happy to have her family together, but she was especially happy when she had her sisters all together. So naturally, sending the 4 of them to see Los Bukis together last year is probably the best memory I have. Being able to get them all together for one last hurrah will always be my greatest blessing. I love my Tia Rosita so much, and losing her has been one of the hardest things I've had to do. I will always remember her smile, and her laugh will have a place in my heart forever. I love you, Tia ❤️

Tia my heart still hurts to know your not here with us I miss you so much. You were a happy and funny person and could always make someone laugh.  My mom would tell me stories of Al the stuff you would do to her as kids because you were the older sister.  The last time I saw you you were full of life but now both of my tias are together you will forever be missed ❤️
