Ruby Hilda Meister Djang was the youngest of six girls born to Peter Meister family of Stoneham Massachusetts. She was born on April 4, 1925 at the location which is now the town city hall, and passed to her rest on February 1, 2018 at the Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California, after a brief illness.
Her elementary studies were completed in what was the New England Sanitarium; her professional training as a medical technologist at the Wilson School in Boston, Massachusetts, and her Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology at Washington Adventist University in 1958.
In July 1958 she married college classmate Eiming Djang. They moved to California for him to start and complete his medical studies at the Loma Linda University Medical School.
Ruby is survived by Eiming and their two children, Kevin and Stephanie. Kevin is a computer scientist contracted to the EPA and Stephanie is a physical therapist in private practice. Kevin and his wife Rebecca have one son, Timothy.
Ruby was known as a very loving, thoughtful and generous person who loved good conversation and always loved to laugh with people. She met life's challenges with ready laughter, dry intelligent wit, and abiding faith in God and His Grace. We look forward to the day when we shall all meet again and there will no longer be pain, sorrow or loss.
EIMING, KEVIN, STEPHANIE, REBECCA AND TIMOTHY DJANG
