Satya Devi Dutt

Mrs. Satya Devi Dutt passed away at the age of 95 on December 30, 2020. She is survived by three of her five children, three daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She loved and immensely cared for all her family members, and made everyone feel special.

She grew up in Ambala, where she received her education and a diploma in Home Science and later worked as a teacher. Mostly, she devoted herself to raising her children and supporting her husband, Sh. Ram Paul Dutt. She encouraged her children to care for each other and pursue higher education. She created happy memories by filling the house with books and magazines and frequently taking her family to the movies. She moved to the USA in 1977 and cherished seeing her family grow here. She helped everyone in the family with an open heart and encouraged everyone to stay focused and work hard. She faced many adversities in her life with exemplary courage and strength.

She enjoyed her family, family friends, and watching soap operas.

She was loved and respected by her family; she will always live in our hearts.
