Shirley was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. While working at Rockwell Tool & Die, she met her future husband, Jack Farrell. When Jack moved to CA, he called Shirley, proposed to her and they were married on December 31, 1959 at Holy Family Church, Orange, CA.
They lived their entire married life in Santa Ana, CA and raised their 3 children there too.
Shirley was very active in her children’s school activities…drove car pool…was always the first person to volunteer for anything. She loved the beach, loved to cook, loved to entertain. Everyone was always welcome….the more, the merrier.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Jack, and her son, John.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Gonzalez of Orange, Grandson, Alex Gonzales of Orange, daughter, Amy Farrell of Santa Ana, her cat, Dolly, and her favorite neighborhood dogs, Jack, Nacho, Kaia, Penny, K2 and Brooks.
