

Stella Mae (Delgadillo) Robles of Monterey Park, California, passed away in Orange California on May 30, 2017 at the age of 73. She was born August 17, 1943 to Hector and Stella Delgadillo. Stella was raised in Los Angeles and spent many of her early years visiting with family in Tijuana Mexico. Stella’s family moved to Monterey Park, California where she attended St. Stephen Martyr Catholic School and Mark Keppel High School. She graduated in 1961 and went on to marry and start her family. Stella took great pride in raising her 3 children. Stella was passionate in her work in the retail industry and found joy outside of work in writing the script for “Almora Boys”, a movie that she one day dreamed of producing. Stella was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved listening to good music, dancing, socializing, and spending time at the beach. For anyone that knew Mom, you know that the beach was her favorite place to be. She had a smile and laugh that would light up a room. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hector and Stella Delgadillo, and her son, Ralph E. Robles. She is survived by her daughters: Venecia Robles-Zavala, Stefanie (Robles) Rivera and her husband Gilbert Rivera; 3 grandsons: Christopher J. Garcia, Marco A. Zavala Jr., Alec E. Rivera; 4 granddaughters: Kristi L. Robles, Brittany N. Grande, Selina Rae Zavala and Sierra N. Zavala; and 7 great-grandchildren: Andrew Nila, Michael Grande, Alexis Nila, Maddison Garcia-Grande, Anastasia Garcia, Chanel DeLaRosa, Jessabelle DeLaRosa; 1 aunt: Chloe Delgadillo Woodson; 3 sisters: Antoinette Calvo, Chloe Redman and Juliette Crow; and many nieces, nephews, and longtime friends. Services will be held on Friday, June 16th, 2017 at Fairhaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3:30-5:00PM. Service will start 5:30PM.
