In Vietnam, she was the Director of a National Midwife Education Program, where she trained and graduated nurses.
She immigrated to the US with her family in 1975, and was among the first Vietnamese refugees to settle in Orange County, CA. In the US, she continued her nursing career until her retirement.
She proudly traveled worldwide to represent her Vietnamese Midwife Nursing Industry. She loved visiting her younger siblings in France and Switzerland. And she enjoyed growing orchids in California with her family, friends, and former students. She spoke 4 languages: Vietnamese, French, English, and Spanish.
She is survived by her son, Anh; daughter-in-law, Nicole; grand-daughter, Andie; her sisters & brother; and many nieces & nephews.
Her memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 2, 2021 at 9am PST, at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 Fairhaven Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705. Attend virtually:
