

Adeline "Dolly" Ginger Resident of Santa Clara January 1, 1922 - February 6, 2013 Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday evening, February 6, 2013, she was 91. Dolly was born and raised in Santa Clara, CA, where she grew up and married her lifelong sweetheart, Gene. She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel 'Gene' Ginger, and sons Bill and David Ginger. She is survived by her sons Ron (Colleen) Ginger and Joe (Eldita) Ginger and daughter Julie (Ken) Eke. She has 9 grandchildren, Bill Ginger (Carol), Amy Johnson (Rick), Chad Ginger (Kristen), Mike Ginger, Andrea Thompson (Kori), Travis Ruelas, Christina Ginger, Kyle and Kelly Eke, and 12 great-grandchildren. Dolly loved to spend time with her grandchildren and family. She has many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who she loved dearly. Dolly was a New Year's baby and every year her family would celebrate her birthday with her. New Year's will never be the same without our Grandma Dolly. She is a woman who dedicated herself to her family. She loved cooking, baking and rooting for the A's and 49er's. Visitation will be held on February 14, 2013, 5-7 pm, followed by a rosary at 7p.m. at the Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara. A funeral mass will be held on February 15, 2013 at St. Justin Catholic Church, at 12 noon, 2655 Homestead Road, Santa Clara. Interment at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
