

She joined her family in CA and began living and working in "The City" while attending the University of San Francisco earning a Masters Degree in Education.
Ms. Manson devoted her life to educating young children in multi cultural communities. She was an exceptional Educator teaching basic and cultural curriculum with notable success. She retired after many decades with an accomplished career with generations of families as her students as a testimony to her achievements. Dolly was a devout Catholic and an active parishioner of Star of the Sea Church. Her School summer vacations allowed her to travel extensively throughout the world experiencing religious history and many diverse cultures with her friends, fellow parishioners and clergy. In 2004, she moved to Sunnyvale to live near and be cared for by her Family.
Survived by her sister Mary M. Hall and brother James P. Manson Jr. , Nieces and Nephews and by Grand and Great Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Dorthea “Dotty” “Dorothy” Manson Jones, Helen “Elaine” Blasquez, Georgina Arnold Crady and by her brothers Paul and Leo Manson. Aunt Dolly created and experienced an interesting life.
She made a special difference in the lives of many especially her students. Her memory and legacy will live on in the hearts and lives she touched, Donations will be appreciated in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
