Anthony Joseph Picariello

Anthony “Tony” Picariello passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, January 23, 2026. Tony was born and raised in Cupertino, California, by Tony and Phine Picariello, alongside his sister, Trisha. Growing up, he was a stellar athlete and star wrestler, competing collegiately at San Jose State University.

Tony married his wife, Mary, on July 18, 1987, in California. They went on to have five daughters: Felicia, Livia, Maria, Petrina, and Cristina.

Tony was passionate in all his hobbies and work, growing his masonry business across the Bay Area. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed taking out his boat any chance he could. Tony shared his love of fishing, hunting, and sports with his family and friends.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters Felicia (Nick) Birrenkott, Livia (Brandon) Vallance, Maria (Eric) Bopp, Petrina, and Cristina (Dexter) Simonds; grandchildren Anthony, Carina, Giovanni, Gianna, Luca, Melani, Cameron, Cooper, and his sister, Trisha.

Services will be held at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary and Queen of Apostles Church.

The committal service will be held at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, located at 490 Lincoln St, Santa Clara, CA 95050, on February 3, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
