

Anton "Tony" Horton born September 11, 1950 in Danbury, Connecticut and entered into rest at home, April 4, 2014, in Santa Clara, California. Son of Florence residing in Texas and brother to 7 across the U.S. He is the father to Jeffrey (Janette) Horton of Arizona, Jennifer (Garret) Nakashiki of California, Jina Horton of Washington and the late Jodie Ann Horton of Depew, New York, who was born March 25, 1980 only to be called back to God on March 28, 1980. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Keith, Jessica, Kyle, Konner, Micah, Helena and Emma. He also had 2 great grandchildren, Hunter and Alisyn and many friends and extended family. He was an Honorable United States Army Vietnam War Veteran who showed courage and strength while battling 2.5 years of cancer. He was retired from Union Carbide/Praxair Gases after 25 years of service. He enjoyed life with his family and friends and never took anything for granted. A beautiful life that came to an end, he died as he lived, everyone's friend. In our hearts, a memory will always be kept of one we loved, and will never forget. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Justin's Parish, 2655 Homestead Road, Santa Clara, CA 95051. Immediately following the Mass there will be a closing ceremony held at Santa Clara Veterans Memorial Park, 909 Kiely Blvd., Santa Clara, CA 95051.
