Judy & Chris



I met Arthur Wagner the lst time when I was stationed in calif. in the military and married his sis Donna. I remember when art and Judy visited Wa-state in the early 70s and also when they visited my folks in olympia. I know Art was a wonderful older brother to Donna as well as a father to his childen and spouse to Judy. Im sorry to hear that Arthur recently passed on and I know that he will be really missed by all. I was happy that Donna and Art were able to have time to talk. I wanted to express my most sincere condolences to Judy & Chris and the rest of the family. God Bless, Garry Dorian

To Judy and Christopher. I learned of Jennifer's passing from my mom about three months ago when she had read her obituary online and contacted Art immediately after only to hear about his diagnosis and his struggles with lung cancer treatment. It was at this time she learned that his time in the physical realm was brief and they promised to connect as often as they could before his death. I know my mom is so very grateful to have had that experience with him. Their communication meant a great deal to her.  

I want to say I'm so terribly saddened to have learned about Jennifer and her passing at such a vibrant age, this news was gut wrenching. My mom showed me many great pictures of her and shared stories of her bravery and of your family's love and desire to give her the best lavish wedding she could have before she were to pass on. She also told me Art's semi retirement allowed him to spend his time with her. That had to be an absolute unexpected blessing.

Also, I am so grateful that Art and my mother reconnected in the timely manner that they did so they both could reconcile and remember the most important parts of living, that is the loving that comes with our brief time here on earth. I know my mother was so grateful to have been able to talk with him and in her own way say goodbye to the older brother that taught her so much about the world, responsibility and growing up. The last time Art came up to visit we spent a day together and i was inspired and impressed with Art's natural tendency to tinker and fix almost anything. Whether it was electrical, electronic, computer hardware or software, the man had a gift to do it all and with such ease. There was one song my mom loved to play by Sarah Brightman. Art had given her a playlist of music for her to have on her computer. The song, strangely fitting was Dust in the Wind by Kansas. When I hear her sing that song it reminds me of Art. My mother gave him a few projects around the house that neither Joel or I had the skill set to do. He always seemed to take on the role of fixer with such ease. So Art and I installed a motion light outside for my mom and the project was brief and easy (for Art) and it was one lasting memory that I will always have with him. That was when I realized he was a skilled, confident, and heroic man that any child would be so lucky to have him pass on his knowledge. To add a bit of humor to this I will mention also remember this was the time that Art was eating raw garlic for its health benefits. It seemed like he would suck on raw garlic like a jolly rancher in his mouth. He swore by it and I swore I would never do that because of the pungent odor that came from him. He laughed and could have cared less.  

I wanted to express my condolences to both of you for your loss. It was an honor to know him.
