Barbara Ciari, a longtime Santa Clara resident, passed away on November 2, 2013. She was 82. Barbara was born November 5, 1930 in San Francisco. She grew up in Willow Glen, and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1948. She met the love of her life, Bob Ciari, and they married in 1951. Barbara was a talented porcelain artist and even more talented wife and mother who devoted her life to her family and friends. She loved to laugh and brought joy to all she knew.
She is survived by her Husband Bob, her children Bill, Richard and Kathy, her daughter-in-law Debra, her grandsons Michael and Daniel, her great-grandson, Westley and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Catherine Cavala, her brother Arthur McKay and her son Thomas Ciari. Visitation Thursday, November 7 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Rosary service Thursday, November 7 at 5:30pm. Funeral Service Friday Nov. 8, at 11:00am at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Burial will be at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St., Santa Clara.
