Our dearly beloved mother passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the age of 98. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Elizabeth Toledo, husband Ken Toledo, Mary Mason and Walter Schiffer. Preceded in death by husband Richard Butera and daughter Catherine. She is survived by sisters Ange, Lucille and Virginia, grandchildren Tina and Tom Mason, great grandchildren Kaila Kepler, Nicholas Echeverria, Taylor and Ryan Mason, and many nieces and nephews. Great-Great Grandchild name sake “Carmella Catherine” will arrive April 2014. Active member of Saratoga Chamber of Commerce and Saratoga Lions Club, also bookkeeper at family store Buy and Save Market until retirement at age 75. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2014 from 5-8PM with Rosary at 7PM at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Santa Clara, where the Funeral Service will also be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 10AM. Interment to follow in Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
