Catherine Grace Nix

Catherine Grace Nix passed away February 8, 2024, in San Jose, California. Cathie was 61. She was born on July 20,1961 to Russell and Mary (Rein) Herman in Riverside, California. Cathie is survived by her father, brother, stepsisters, stepbrother, stepmothers, and stepfather. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary F. Risinger.

Cathie was a very nurturing, artistic and creative person and enjoyed making beautiful jewelry and various other crafts that she shared with her friends and family. She also took great pleasure in gardening and spending time with her dog, Mike, taking him for walks in the park.

The family would like to thank her friends that brought love and joy to her life. We will all miss Cathie with her kindness and love for everyone.
