Connie Soares

Connie Soares was a beloved mom, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and adventurous spirit touched the lives of everyone she met. Born on April 14, 1957, in the beautiful island of Madeira, Portugal, Connie’s journey took her across the ocean to America as a teenager, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Family was the heart of Connie’s world. She found immense joy in spending time with her nieces, great-nieces and nephews and great nephews, always ready with a warm hug, a playful smile, and endless patience. Whether she was babysitting, sharing stories, or simply enjoying their company, she made every moment special for them.

Connie had a zest for life and a love for adventure. She enjoyed fishing, finding peace in the quiet rhythm of the water and the thrill of the catch. Traveling brought her happiness, a new love as she loved exploring new places and experiencing the beauty the world had to offer. She also had a fondness for casinos, where she enjoyed the excitement of a good game and the fun of trying her luck.

To those who knew her, Connie was a source of unwavering love, kindness, and joy. Her generous heart, adventurous soul, and warm presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to have her in their lives.

Though she may no longer be with us, her memory lives on in the stories we share, the love she gave, and the countless lives she touched. May she rest in peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.

A memorial service for Connie will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
