Cynthia Bowman Cooper, age 79, of Santa Clara died peacefully on August 24th 2012. She is survived by her three children, son David (daughter-in-law Joanie), son Stephen and daughter Claire (son-in-law Ken), and five grandchildren, Michelle Jones (husband Brad), Kate Dang (husband Steven), Chris Cooper, and Jennifer and James Ross. A great grand daughter is due to arrive in October of 2012.
Cynthia was intelligent, sophisticated and gracious yet preferred a simple lifestyle of family over self, kindness over indifference, listening over talking, reading over TV and traveling over standing still. In a bold move, she relocated to California with her young family and enjoyed 50 full years of life. We will all miss her but know she has peacefully gone home to Heaven.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial service on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 1:30 PM in the main chapel at O’Connor Hospital, 2105 Forest Ave, San Jose. Interment will be at the Beachwood’s Cemetery, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania beside her husband Bill of 52 years. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to O’Connor Hospital Foundation or Hospice of the Valley.
