Ellen Orcutt

Ellen Jo Orcutt, 74, one of God’s most faithful servants, was called home on October 25th, 2025. Ellen was born on January 6th, 1951, in San Jose, CA, of which she was a lifelong resident. Ellen was a beautiful, kind soul with a sense of compassion for others that was simply unmatched. She walked each step in this world with her love for Jesus, and guided all of her actions as he would have done. Ellen loved her family and her community with all that she had. She dedicated almost half of her life to Santa Clara County, serving families in crisis, and those experiencing homelessness. Her bright light in this world will never fade; as it will continue shining in all of the lives she touched. Ellen is survived by her Mother, Nina Boyd, Brothers, Ted Boyd, Marc Boyd, and Murphy Boyd, Sister, Kim Boyd, Daughter, Joelle Orlando, Son, Matthew Orcutt, Nephews, Jack Boyd, Domenic Boyd, Niece, Lexi Boyd, and 9 Grandchildren, Aurora, Charlie, Sean, Abigail, Madison, Marley, Mila, Maya, and Titan, along with many other extended family members. She is now in the precious care of her savior Jesus, and embraced by her son Gregory Orcutt. Ellen’s physical remains will be placed at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, where her Father, Grandfather, Grandmother, and Uncle currently reside.
