Francisco Andres was born in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines in 1949 to Alipio and Flora Andres and had a childhood full of memories on the river. Francisco finished high school in Lumbad before marrying Graciela and emigrating to California in 1975. In 1976, his first son, Kevin, was born followed by his daughter, Debbie, in 1978 and his second son, Brian, in 1979. He worked in sheet metal manufacturing for most of his working life before retiring in 2015. He was a doting grandfather to his three grandsons, Zaqar, Drake and Savion. He enjoyed playing basketball and was passionate about fishing, often catching large striped bass in the Palo Alto Baylands. He loved to travel with his family and was able to visit places like Hawaii and his birthplace in his retirement. He never liked to say it out loud, but he loved hanging out and spoiling our pet dogs, Shelby and Kong.
He is survived by his children Kevin, Debbie and Brian, his grandchildren Zaqar, Drake, and Savion, and siblings, Nenita, Esme, Resty, Rosario, Casey, and Tony.
