UN MESSAGE DE LA FAMILLE
Guadalupe (Lupe) Higareda nació en La Piedad, Michoacán. Emigró de México a California a una edad temprana. Lupe fue una esposa devota de Roberto Higareda y una madre amorosa para todos sus hijos, sus nietos y sus bisnietos.
La fuerte fe de Lupe en Dios y su arduo trabajo incansable le permitieron vivir una vida fructífera junto a su esposo e hijos. Ella inculcó en su familia la determinación de superar los muchos desafíos de la vida que enfrentaron individualmente y como familia.
Lupe era bien conocida por sus exquisitas comidas. Siempre invitaba a los invitados a comer en su mesa. Sus ojos amorosos y su cálida sonrisa llenaron cada habitación con amabilidad y sinceridad. Traía consuelo a todos los que buscaban su consejo. Era una querida amiga y una gran narradora pero sobre todo era nuestra heroína.
Fue una luchadora por su familia hasta su último aliento. Nuestros corazones están rotos de tristeza y la extrañaremos por siempre.
Gracias por el amor infinito e incondicional que nos diste a todos. Esperamos verte de nuevo en el cielo. Siempre te amaremos.
Guadalupe (Lupe) Higareda was born in La Piedad, Michoacán. She immigrated from Mexico to California at a young age. Lupe was a devoted wife to Roberto Higareda and a loving mother to all her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Lupe's strong faith in God and her relentless hard work allowed her to live a fruitful life alongside her husband and children. She instilled in her family the determination to overcome the many life challenges they faced individually and as a family.
Lupe was well known for her exquisite meals. She always invited guests to eat at her table. Her loving eyes and warm smile filled every room with kindness and sincerity. She brought comfort to all who sought her advice. She was a beloved friend and a great storyteller but above all she was our hero.
She was a fighter for her family to her very last breath. Our hearts are broken with sadness and she will be missed forever.
Thank you for the endless and unconditional love that you gave to all of us. We look forward to seeing you again in heaven. We will always love you.

A rosary service for Guadalupe will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050. A funeral service will occur Monday, April 11, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Five Wounds Portuguese National Church, 1375 E Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95116. A committal service will occur Monday, April 11, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Oak Hill Memorial Park & Mortuary, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125.
