Juliana was born May 04, 1919 in Wasco, CA to Alejandrina Trujillo and Natividad Torres. She was born into a large family attended St. Johns School. At a young age her mother passed away so she helped raise her siblings, and joined her father in the fields of Wasco picking grapes, cotton and potatoes.
Later she met and married Gonzalo V. Garcia. They both moved and settled in Santa Clara. They had and raised 9 children. She was a faithful parishioner at St. Clare’s and an active member in the Hispanic Church community.
Juliana had 3 sons that served in the military and with that she became a very proud “War Mother”. She held a position as President of Chapter #45 of Santa Clara and also was a participant of the U.S.O.
She worked as a Retail Clerk for over 20 years at Wilson’s Bakery, was a proud member of UFCW 15.
Aside from her fulfilling duties, Juliana was an avid gardener. She was always attending to her roses that her beloved late husband planted just for her or her Iris’s that her loving sister planted with her. Enjoying life as she knew it, loving to laugh, smile, sing and being in good company with her family and friends. She was one of the strongest women you may have known, a fighter and a survivor of Breast Cancer.
In her final years she suffered with Dementia and passed away unexpectedly. She proceeded into the pearly gates of heaven to be re-united with her husband Gonzalo, 3 children Monica, Elizabeth and Mariano Garcia along with an abundance of loved ones that we have lost over the years.
She left behind her loving brother Natividad Torres and survived by her children Nicanor, Sylvia Hagan, Bernadette, Thomas, Veronica Davis and Judith Santos. She also leaves behind an abundance of loving Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
