Lily Martinez

Lily “Tete” Martinez of Saratoga, California, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 18, 2017.

Lily was born in El Rio, California to Pasquala and Jose Martinez on August 3, 1931. She was a Cosmetologist for over 40+ years and owned her own salon in Campbell until she retired. She enjoyed family gatherings, mariachi music, dancing, numerous types of crafts and cooking for her family.

She is preceded by her sisters Belen Martinez, Elvera Vasquez; brothers Louie Ruiz; Froylan Martinez and mother Pasquala Alonzo.

Lily is survived by her sister Belen (Earl) Bernal; brothers Oscar Martinez; Jose (Julie) Alonzo; Louie (Sharon) Alonzo; son, Froylan “Son” (Patricia Wong) Martinez; daughter Julie (Michael) Radu; grandson William Radu; and many other nieces, nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews and Malia (dog).

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to nieces Maria Bautista, Tanya Bautista, nephew Edward Bautista, and to the Kaiser Hospice for their support in her final days.

Visitation will be held at Lima Family Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd. Santa Clara

on July 25, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Rosary begins at 7 p.m. Funeral service will also be held at Lima Family Mortuary on July 26,2017 at 11 a.m. with Fr. David Mercer. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
