Passed away quietly on September 17th at 2:55 am. Surrounded by family. He is survived by two brothers John in Fall River, Massachusetts, Guillermo in Vancouver, Canada, sister Martha Medeiros in Toronto, Canada, his son Walter, three daughters Natalia Medeiros of San Jose, Paula Mathews of Hollister, Sandra Machado of Gilroy, 12 grand-children Christianna, Dominica, Christopher Jr, Michael Mathews, Justin, Ayden, Ryan Machado, Joey, Alex Da Silva, Tiago, Patrick De Mello, Shelby Medeiros, 1 great-grandchild Logan Escobar. Born in Santo Antonio, Sao Miguel, Acores. In 1978 moved to Santa Clara, California. Retired from Vargas Gardening Services in 1996. He was a strong, honest, loving and generous man.
