Margaret Lopez Flores

Margaret Lopez Flores passed away calmly at the age of 82, ascending into the arms of our Heavenly Father on Friday, July 19, 2024. Her immediate family was there to comfort her as her body reposed into tranquility. She was a dearly loved woman, who played an important role in so many lives. Born in Pico Rivera, Los Angeles on October 8, 1941, she was the eldest child of Henry and Simona Lopez. The Lopez family followed the crops all over the west coast to work in the fields. Margaret resided in Pico until her family migrated North, finally settling in San Jose, the Valley of Heart's Delight. It was there that she would meet her husband, Stan Flores. They were soon married and welcomed their first born, Stan Jr, in 1965. Two years later, their family was complete with the birth of her second born son, Randy.

Margaret was a hard-working woman in the home and in the booming tech industry. She started at Fairchild, and then moved to IBM, and ultimately retired from HP. By the time she retired, she had gained four granddaughters and spent her golden years caring for them. Margaret loved to travel, whether it was going on a cruise or driving in the RV. She enjoyed good music, and loved to dance. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She impacted everyone she met with her generosity, good cooking, and vivacious personality. She believed wholeheartedly in God and read her bible often. She will finally be reunited with her husband, mother, grandmother, and siblings who left before her. She is survived by her two sons Stan and Randy, and her granddaughters Jazmin, Crystal, Brandy, and Briana.

A visitation for Margaret will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
