I worked with Marge at Social Services. She was a great supervisor and a kind generous human being. So sorry to hear of her passing.

Dear cousins Gary and Tom,
Please accept my sincere sympathy on the death of your good mom (and my dear Aunt Margie).  The years have passed so quickly since the days when the Papa's, Pennachio's and Bonhags would gather at Nanny's house in Woodside on Sunday afternoons for a 3-hour Italian meal!  With the kids eating at the basement table.  The cousins had such fun playing together.  Aunt Margie was so kind and caring.  She wrote such a wonderful letter on the occasion of my ordination in 1967.  I will offer Mass for her intention - and for all the family.  May sherest in peace in the arms of Jesus.

Grandma, the memories of you and I will always have a special place in my heart. You were always a strong, loving, thoughtful, and special Grandmother. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories. I will miss you so much. I love you Grammy.

Grandma, I am so glad I got to spend time with you earlier this year. You were always there no matter how far away I lived. For my 51 years on this earth I knew I was loved. Dear God please welcome my grandmother she has done your work on earth and now she can watch over me and my family forever. Tommy

No words can describe how sorry I am for your loss. Your mother was a very special person.

Margaret was like a mother to me and I have many fond memories of our time together.  I remember her love, laughter, family gatherings around the dinner table and of course her famous meatballs.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.  May the comfort of God help you through this difficult time.

Aunt Margie, a long time has passed since we talked...but you were always in my thoughts over the yrs. You had a great heart and were a loving person to me, my mother and the rest of the family. I'll always remember the first thing that you asked me every time we talked on the phone, Are you being a good boy for mom ? Then you would give me a little pep talk and said I will understand once I'm older.

I do understand now, it took a lot of ups and downs to understand, but I do now. You will be missed and never forgotten. I love you Aunt Margie.

I remember Aunt Margie as one of the kindest people I ever met. She was a dedicated Catholic her whole life and I know she is finally reunited with her sister Dolores. She will be deeply missed. May she rest in the loving arms of God and know that peace that knows no end.

No matter the distance between California and New York, Aunt Margie was a great Aunt but most who know her definitely know that she was a wonderful  person.  She was always caring, understanding and non-judgemental. Always willing to listen no matter what needed to be discussed and ready to give her advice.

May the Lord bless her now as she is no longer suffering. She is now in the presence of our dear Lord Jesus in the eternal resting place of heaven. 

God Bless you Aunt Margie, you are very loved and will always be cherished and missed.

Mother God,
Father God,
Welcome my Aunt into your kingdom.
Let her enjoy the reward of the Christian life.
To spend eternity in endless praise.
Surrounded and reunited with lost loved ones.
Bring peace to those who remain. Grieving the loss of their mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
Let them rejoice at Jesus.
Victory over death.
And the never-ending gift of heaven.

Many aunts hold a special place in the hearts of their nieces. You were always a special aunt to me, but more so like a mother. 

The memory of my Aunt Margie will live in my heart forever by reliving shared experiences, memories and sharing stories with others. This will keep your memory alive. 

I thank God that I had you in my life all of these years to talk to. 

You suffered for many years and now you get to be with many of your loved ones.

Although I hate to say good-bye, I know that you are now safe and at peace in God's hands.

I can just imagine the celebration of the reunion of the infamous Salviola sisters AND of course, Violet. Margie endured a lot but always with dignity and a smile. Rest in the arms of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Of course I'll remember her mostly as half of the glamorous Salviola sisters.   Always a kind word or willing to listen.  She will be deeply missed.

Our hearts go out to the Papa family for your loss.
