Dear Aunt Gina and family,
I just wanted to send you our love and prayers as you say goodbye to Uncle Marty. It's always hard to let them go on even when we know that their new life will be a better one. I will be thinking of all of you in the coming days and praying prayers of comfort for you and the family.
Randy and I were just talking about all of you because he is going to be working in Southern California for the next month and wanted to get up to visit ya'll.

Dear Aunt Gina, 

We were saddened to learn this morning of Uncle M.L.'s death. We loved him and his enthusiasm for life. His laughter and tall tales were the highlights of the Peacock family reunions at Mandalay. Mother and Daddy loved him and treasured the memories of their visit with you all in California. 

Jackie and I will be asking the God of all mercy to grant you and your family comfort during this time of sorrow. May the Lord richly bless you.

I am so sad to  hear that your dad passed away. Your dad was very special to me. He was always bigger than life to me. I will never forget the sound of his voice. As well as our trips to San Jose and when you guys came to Vegas with all the Mississippi and Louisiana Peacocks. I am very sorry Kim. I know its been a long time but I loved your dad very much. Dear Gina, Kim, Chris and family,
So sorry to hear of Uncle ML's passing. I certainly have fond memories of him from childhood to being an adult. He was always so much fun to be around. Our prayers are with each of you. We love you all.
My oldest brother, Harold (who died in 2004 at the age of 63) always reminded me of Uncle ML. Both were in U.S. Navy and favored one another.

Aunt Gina, Chris, and Kim and families, we are very saddened by the loss of our dear uncle ML.  We always enjoyed yall's visits back home to Louisiana, and the reminiscing by the older generation of days gone by.  Uncle ML got to live a very full life with many loving family members on both sides of his family, and leaves many memories behind in us all.  He was a blessed man to enjoy so many in his life who loved and cherished him, and we are blessed to have had him in our lives, and will cherish our memories of him.  We miss him....  We will be praying that our merciful God grant you peace and comfort at this time.

I am especially saddened by the loss of Uncle Marty.  While growing up, to me he was bigger than life.  Uncle Marty was a big man with even bigger tales, he had an infectious laugh and a voice I will never forget.

Dear Family, I was saddened to hear of Uncle M.L.'s  passing, but let us all be comforted that he is rejoicing in heaven with our Lord and celebrate his life. I have so many fond memories of Uncle M.L and our California Peacock family. Uncle M.L. was always a positive person, full of laughter and a master story teller. I will always remember the famous Peacock family reunions, but the ones the “Cali Peacocks” attended, seemed that much more special. Uncle M.L. will always be remembered as an awesome family man, man of God and a special love for all mankind.

Aloha from Carol over here in the middle of the Pacific - an ocean I know Uncle ML loved while he was in the Navy.  We enjoyed our visits with him and our California family when we came through San Jose, CA...especially the last time we were there and got to experience him playing with his great grand daughter. Lots of good memories over the years at family reunions in West Monroe, LA with him telling so many great stories.  We hold the rest of the family in Love during this challenging transition. I was so sorry to hear of the loss of our dear Uncle M.L. I'm sending you a hug from afar, Aunt Jean and family.  He always took the time to give one on one attention even in our big family reunions, making me feel special to him.  I loved him for that.  And when he couldn't attend, he would call Mandalay and want to talk to each one.  I will cherish those memories and more.

The Peacock family will remember and cherish our beloved Uncle M.L.  His laughter and tall tales highlighted Peacock family reunions at Mandalay.  We loved this man and pray that the God of all mercy will comfort us all at this heavy loss of a great man.

Dear Family:  We all are saddened by Marty's passing and send our love and support your way during these difficult times.   May all your wonderful memories of him give you strength.    Love from the Benson and Hubbell families.

Marty's presence left us with a wealth of memories.  The "Scottish Condor" incident was particularly priceless.  Our hearts and love go out to you all for the
loss of a truly unique man.  He will be missed.
