Michael passed away September 8, 2016 with his wife and service dog by his side, after a long valiant battle with Diabetes, Liver & Kidney Disease. He was 60. Mike was a gentle, loving and generous man. Family was so important to him. Mike had a deep love and respect for animals and could communicate with them. The one trait that will be missed most of all is his sense of humor. Even on his worst days, he would be cracking jokes. He was a born entertainer. His mother Josephine Marasco and his father Richard Marasco preceded Mike in death. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Laurina “Laurie” Marasco, his devoted service dog Sunshine, brother Jeff Marasco, and sister Dianne Guertner, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and countless number of friends he considered family. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 5-9PM with Rosary at 7PM at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara where the Funeral Service will also be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11AM. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
