Mike was born June 11, 1961 in San Jose to parents Max Timmons and the late Mary Evelyn Timmons and spent his childhood in Santa Clara. He leaves behind father Max and stepmother Cynthia Timmons, sister Cheryl Vincent, and step-siblings Jon Jewell, Rick Jewell, and Vicki Tafoya.
Although his education from San Jose State University led him to a career as a systems analyst for Compaq Computer, Mike's real love was music. Mike composed and performed his own music, performing in the group Emerald City in the 1980s. He was an avid traveler and especially loved the time he spent in Europe.
Funeral service, Wednesday 8/22/12 at 10 AM at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Interment to follow at Mission City Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association in Mike's name.
