Olga was preceded by her parents, Alberto and Gertrude, and her husband Ramon. She is survived by her two brothers, Armando and Jaime, and her sister Carol, her five sons, Jerry, Ricky, Ronnie, Fernando, and Albert, nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Born in Mexico on February 9, 1928, Olga Elsa Ocampo Mendez was a strong, beautiful, caring soul, who lived a long and fulfilling life that weaved a rich tapestry of love, laughter, sacrifice and devotion throughout the entirety of her life.
Olga loved to be with her family, sing, dance, laugh, cook, sew, watch her novellas and read. She was a model homemaker and an original DIY enthusiast that loved home decorating, traveling, shopping, dressing-up, long stays in Reno (penny slots) and her evening margaritas! Most of all, she was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. We are all so blessed to have had the opportunity to have her in our lives. She will always be alive in our memories and be greatly missed!
A private memorial and burial services for Olga will be held by her immediate family.
