Born November 1931 in New York City, New York to Kathleen and Robert Casey. Pat slipped away peacefully on August 12, 2017 at home in Santa Clara surrounded by many family members. She is survived by her loving daughters: Virginia (Ron) Vaillancourt, Maryanne (David) Powell, and Trisha (Greg) Mudwilder; her grandchildren: Andrew (Christine Feeley) and Adam (Sarah Robbins) McAlister, Tristan and Ian Powell, James and Kaela Arnett, Gianna and Ryeder Mudwilder and Malaura Mudwilder Ruizesparza; her great-grandchildren: Eric and Casey McAlister, Aubrey McAlister, Aaleya Arnett Mudwilder, Angel Arnett Bravo and Hugo Ruizesparza, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband of 53 years, James Serrille; her mother Kathleen, father Robert, and sisters: Mary Casey Betti and Virginia Casey Fogarty. Pat was a hard-working, mostly stay-at-home mom. She was an active member of Saint Lawrence the Martyr Church serving as president of the Ladies Guild and the church council. She participated in numerous functions and activities at St. Lawrence over the years. She was an avid reader and gardener. Her home and family meant everything to her, as did her Irish heritage. She grew up in New York, and all though she lived the majority of her life in California, was a New Yorker through and through. She was the heart of our family and the life of the party. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her. Please consider a donation in Pat's name to Hospice of the Valley or St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish, in lieu of flowers.
