Robert K. Reinhardt Sr.

Bob passed away at Diamond Lake , Oregon on June 23rd while doing what he loved most - fishing with family and dear friends. Bob was born in San Francisco , CA to the late William Joseph and Marian Barbara Reinhardt. Bob lived most of his life in Willow Glen where his family moved in 1938. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Lillian Anne Miner-Reinhardt. Together, they raised their children Robin Michelle Dahlsted ( Gary ), the late William Elliott Reinhardt, Robert Kennett Reinhardt, Jr. (Stephanie) and James Patrick Reinhardt. He had 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren whom he adored.

Bob graduated from Bellarmine College Preparatory, Class of l950 and San Jose State University , Class of 1955. He proudly served his country as an Army and Air Force Reservist, retiring after 20 years in 1988.

Bob will be remembered by many of the students whom he counseled during his long, successful career in the East Side Union High School District ,. He retired in 1990 after 33 years of service. He Bob was an active Life Member of the San Jose Elks Lodge BPOE #522 for 52 years. He enjoyed fishing, attending air shows, was an avid SF 49er fan and was renowned for his home grown tomatoes.

Rosary, Thursday 7/1/10 at 7 PM at Lima Family Santa Clara , 466 N. Winchester Blvd. Funeral Mass, Friday 7/2/10 at 11 AM at St. Christopher Church, 1576 Curtner Ave. in San Jose . Family requests in lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
