

Rose Claudia D’Antonio affectionately known as Rosario by her brothers, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024, in San Jose, California, at the age of 95. Born on May 9, 1929, in Fowler, California, Rose lived a full and vibrant life marked by her devotion to her family and her spirited independence.
A proud graduate of Santa Clara High School, Rose carried the values of hard work and perseverance throughout her life, working part-time until the age of 85. Rose had a zest for life, enjoying activities such as bowling, playing Bingo, and frequent trips to Lake Tahoe, Reno, and Laughlin, Nevada with the girls for some fun spirited gambling.
Rose was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her strength and independence left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Rose's family was the cornerstone of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her brother Domingo Blanco and Fred Blanco; her son Michael D’Antonio and daughter-in-law Debbie D’Antonio; her grandchildren Alyssa Royval, Nicholas D’Antonio, Mathew Downey; and five great-grandchildren. Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband Michael D’Antonio; her daughter Michelle Downey and her siblings Tina Danzansky, John Blanco, and Manuel Blanco.
A celebration of Rose's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the love she shared with so many. Rose's legacy of love, independence, and joy will be cherished and remembered by all who were fortunate to know her.
