Soledad Ortiz

Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Soledad Ortiz passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 28th. Soledad was born in San Francisco, California where she lived until May of 1964 at which time she and her husband and children moved to San Jose. Soledad was married to her beloved husband Ramon, for 53 years. She was preceded in death by Ramon in 2007 and her son, David in 2011. She was the loving mother to Evelyn Ortiz (Carole), Ray Ortiz (Teri), Oscar Ortiz (Brenda) and Delia Besio (Jim). Soledad was the loving grandmother of fourteen and great grandmother of seven.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 16th at 6:00 p.m. at Lima Family Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara, with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 17th at 11 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Church, 200 O'Connor Dr., San Jose. Burial at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Martin of Tours Church in San Jose or the American Heart Association.
