Steven C. Fanelli

It's with sadness we announce the passing Steve after a 10 month battle with cancer. Steve was the son of Dominic A. Fanelli and Virginia Cottle Fanelli. Steve is survived by his Sister Winnie Farwell (Bob), Brothers Michael Fanelli (Yasna). Dominic A. Fanelli Jr. ( Anita), and Joseph Fanelli ( Mary).

He is also survived by his Aunt Ann Antuzzi and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his 2 best friends and support, Benny and Jet. (Dogs) for over 14 yrs.

Steve graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School. He was also a graduate of Santa Clara University.

He excelled in football, basketball and baseball. Upon graduation from college, he began a 40 year career in commercial real estate In Northern California and Sacramento. He was an accomplished guitarist and passionate about his best friends Ben and Jet.

He loved his Italian Heritage by staying in touch with the Italian Family in Italy. One of Steve's last request was to make a trip to Italy. With his health failing, Brother Mike and Steve made the trip to Italy in late May 2022.

Steve embraced his 10 yrs of Sobriety. His dedication to AA and the AA Family was moving. He found himself an active sponsor of men in The AA program.

Steve was loved by all his Family and Friends. He will be missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday October 2nd @ 2:00PM.
