Tom passed away on Feb 22, 2011. He was born on June 17, 1942 in San Jose, CA. Tom graduated from Del Mar High School; and San Jose State College with a Masters degree in Art. He reached the rank of Sargent in the U.S. Army Reserves. Tom was a talented artist with skills in painting, photography and mixed media. He was a photography teacher at San Jose Community College and taught art for 35 years at the Santa Clara Adult Education Center where he had many dedicated, loyal students. He was an accomplished shooter in all disciplines and a multiple match winner in many U.S.P.S.A. competitions. Tom was predeceased by his beloved parents Salvatore Sparacino and Ethel (Radovich) Sparacino and his nephew little angel Luke. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Jennifer Sparacino, his devoted daughter Bricken Sparacino, his loving son-in-law Michael Birch; brothers Dennis (Sheila) Sparacino and Mark (Debbie) Sparacino; mother-in-law Virginia Dunn, father-in-law Ralph Finkas; brothers/sisters-in-law Tony (Susan) Finkas, Debbie (Gary) Winning, Mary (Jan) Finkas, Ed Finkas, nieces and nephews Jason (Christine) Sparacino, Damon (Trisha) Sparacino, Kiprian (Kathy) Winning, Maegan (John) Pearson, Kyle (Joanna) Winning, Ryan (Linda) Finkas, Kirsten Finkas, Lindsay (Nick) Finkas, and Kevin Finkas. We will all greatly miss him.Visitation will be Tues 3/1 at 3pm and Vigil Service at 7pm at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Blvd.Funeral Mass Wed 3/2 at 10am at Carmelite Monastery,1000 Lincoln St.,Santa Clara.Interment Private. Flowers may be sent to Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary.
