Velda passed away peacefully in her home with the quiet grace and open spirit that so exemplified her life, just as she had wished, surrounded and held by her loving family. All are welcome to attend services Tuesday, July 9 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 81 N 2nd St. in San Jose. Interment will follow in Mission City Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday evening July 8 from 6-9 p.m., with a short Rosary Vigil at 7 p.m., at Lima Family Mortuary, Santa Clara, 466 N Winchester Blvd.
