Vernon G. Santos

Vernon G. Santos, 80, passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side, on Thursday, November 4, 2021 in Alviso. He was born September 17, 1941 in San Jose CA, to JP Santos and Lorraine Carable. He married Gloria on December 12, 1966 in San Jose. Vern worked as a residential contractor in the Santa Clara Valley for many years. He owned his own construction company, with his business partner/nephew and partner in crime, Tony A. Santos. Vern worked hard to provide for his family and his generosity went well beyond his family.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents JP and Lorraine, his wife Gloria, and granddaughter Chelsea. He is survived by his daughter Lori Pagan of Tracy, CA and husband Richard; granddaughter Jennifer; great- grandchildren; Madilyn and Garrett; son Shawn Santos of Santa Nella, CA and wife Rhonda; grandson; Justin and wife Dakota; granddaughter; Megan and partner Sal; great-granddaughter Addilyn; grandson; Jacob and partner Anna; great-grandson Vernon; granddaughter; Britni and husband Alex; great-granddaughter's Ella and Avery; sister Doris Simmons of Champaign, IL; sister Carol Laine of Roseville, CA.; brother Wilfred Santos of Alviso, CA.

A visitation for Vernon will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 North Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
