Vincent P. La Russa

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our father, Vincent P. La Russa of San Jose of Sept. 24, 2017 at the age of 86 years old. Vincent leaves behind his son Sal La Russa and wife Judy of Redding, daughters Debora Steacy and husband Jim of San Jose, Marcia Padia and husband Gary of San Jose, Susan Jacobson and husband Jim of San Jose, brother Joe La Russa and wife Carol of San Jose, cousin Marie Bandy, and brother-in-law Welton Carrel and sister-in-law Judy of Redding.

He also leaves behind his twelve loving grandchildren- Gil Padia, Vincent La Russa, Prudence Steacy Kolano, Gabriel Padia, Jennifer La Russa Reposa, Zachary Steacy, Monique Padia, Tony La Russa, Garrett Padia, Grant Padia, Amy and Coby Jacobson.

Vincent was blessed with ten adoring great-grandchildren- Felipe and Eddy Padia, Hunter Reposa, Isabella and Finn Kolano, Matilda La Russa, Giuliana and Adelyn Espinosa, and Connor Padia, with a baby girl, Goldie La Russa, expected in February.

Vincent was preceded in death by his loving wife Donna, his parents Salvatore and Lena, and his sisters Theresa Ralston and Anne Folsom.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 from 5-9PM with Rosary at 7PM at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara, where the Funeral Service will also be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at 1PM. Entombment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
