Alexei was an incredibly strong person and meant so much to me and my mom, he was like family to me.

I will never forget how present, considerate and showing up he was. He taught me so much about life, business and how to think, even when I didn’t fully understand it yet. I still remember our little back and forth questions and the way he always pushed me to grow, while also being so kind.

He had a rare combination of a big heart and a strong character. I miss him and I’m forever grateful I got to know him.

My mom and I are holding you close in our thoughts and sending our deepest condolences.

My husband and I met Alexei last March and he became a loving friend. We loved Alexei unconditionally. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone that met him and we know he is in heaven looking down on all of us. Sending us love and strength.

I will always carry Alexei in my heart, as I always have.

Alexei; my funny, feisty, loyal loving friend. Our friendship formed in our early adult years, we laughed, bickered, and showed up for each other. 

He called, checked in on my family and would drop what he was doing if ever we got the chance to meet up, living on other sides of the world from each other. 

Two trips stand out as examples of Alexei’s character and heart. He travelled 3,000 miles from London to New York over one and a half days during an ash cloud over Europe to keep his promise to visit me when I’d had a rough time. He was not in a good mood when he got there but I loved him for making it. 

A few years before he’d flown from New York back to Zurich to keep another promise to meet me.

We signed off every call with ‘love you’ which meant; I’ve got you and will always be here for you. 

He loved his family more than anything and the friends he took into his heart. 

With enormous gratitude and a wish for eternal peace for you,

I’m deeply grateful for the beautiful moments we shared and for the person he was. He had a rare combination of intelligence, heart, humor, strength of character, and an adventurous spirit — and he brought light into the lives of many.

One of his favorite sayings was:
“Whenever you try, your chances of success are 50%. If you never try, your chances are zero.”
I will carry that with me.

Alexei taught me to be honest, to be brave, and to be fully myself — not hiding imperfections, but owning them with dignity.

He is one of the reasons I learned to speak with confidence. He believed in me when. He saw in me what I now see in myself now.

He supported me and my daughter, and he showed me what a true gentleman is — a man with morals, standards, and deep respect for a woman.

 I will always carry Alexei in my heart, as I always have.
And I will always hold love for him, as I always did.

Dear Muniak Family, 
Alexei and I were friends since 2006 or so. He was such a lovely light always and definitely always the brightest one in the room.  He was always kind, intelligent, interesting and charismatic; while also being thoughtful, sensitive and so human at the same time. What a wonderful person. Every time we saw each other we were bubbling with conversations and laughing together. His soul will be very missed in this crazy world. Sending all of you my sincerest condolences and thinking of all of you at this horrible time.
