Florence M. Peet, a 60 year Venice resident died in Murrieta, California on March 24, 2013. She was 99. Born in Sedgwick, Colorado on December 27, 1913, Mrs. Peet was a homemaker. She belonged to Ocean Park Chapter Order of Eastern Star. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Archie Peet and is survived by her son Kenney Peet, daughter Carol Peet Strandberg and son-in-law David Strandberg; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Graveside service Saturday, March 30 at 12 o'clock noon at Woodlawn Cemetery, Santa Monica. Memorials in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital are preferred.
