

He leaves his wife of 57 years, Betty (Nadine) Donner; his three (3) sons, Mark Donner, Stephen Donner and Eric Donner; his daughter in-law Patricia Donner and granddaughters Kearney Donner, Charissa Sawitz, and grandson Joseph Crouch, his daughter in-law Linda Donner, his brother Lesley Donner and sisters Peggy and JoAnn. Born in Idaho but raised in the Seattle Washington, he was a lifelong resident of Oxnard.
In December 6th, 1945, he joined the U.S. Air Force serving in Korea, Vietnam, Japan and Alaska. After 22 years of pride, loyalty, dependability and commitment with service to our country, he finally settled down and retired as Master Sergeant in Oxnard, CA.
After touring with the Air Force, he continued his support for the U.S. military, by providing his expertise repairing and maintaining Navy jets at Pt. Mugu Naval Air Station. He carried on these civil servant duties for an additional 21 years, contributing towards the safety of our nation.
Upon retiring, he enjoyed playing golf with his buddies, fishing and camping with his family, the occasional junket to Las Vegas and playing the ponies.
He will be remembered for his honesty, great sense of humor and taking one thing at a time.
We will miss you so much that words cannot convey the true loss. We know you are in heaven feeling no pain, we all love you DAD!
A funeral services were held Friday October 16, 2015 10:00 AM at Santa Paula Cemetery.
