

Our beloved mother (Maria) Guadalupe, 95, passed away peacefully at home June 14, 2012 long-suffering from diabetes.
Born February 20, 1917 in Jacona Michuacan Mexico. She worked in San Ysidro, CA while living in Tijuana Baja, California. Later she moved to Santa Monica, CA her first home. She resided in Ventura, CA.
She quit work to become a full-time homemaker and nanny for grandchildren. "Abuelita Lupe" was the greatest Nanny for her grandchildren--loving, generous, and giving to family and friends. Her passions in life were her family, friends, cooking, needlework, crafts, the outdoors, and camping.
She leaves a legacy of her Catholic faith as a warrior in the Cristeros War of the 1920's in Mexico. She was devoted to a life of prayer, the Blessed Mother and the rosary.
She was preceded in death by daughter Elena, Manual Ochoa, Salvador Pimental, sister Carmen Arciniega.
Her memory will be treasured in the hearts of her daughters, Bertha Pimentel, Esperanza Meza (Jesus), Guadalupe Stark (Ronald), Maria Lozano (Paul), Margarita Flores (Fernando), her 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, her sister Sr. Consuelo Gutierrez, nephews, and friends.
Mamita, no words can ever fill the void in our hearts, but it gives us great comfort knowing you always loved us unconditionally. You will be forever in our hearts in spirit until we meet again in heaven.
The viewing is Friday, June 22, 2012 at Santa Clara Mortuary in Oxnard 4 - 8 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church at 10 a.m. in Ventura, CA. Burial will follow at Santa Paula Cemetary in Santa Paula, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you kindly donate to Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Ventura.
