Ida Emma Nelson

Ida was 20 and working at the A&P bakery in Elizabeth, New Jersey where she met her husband Frank Nelson who was Captain of the Fire Department.

Ida and Frank eventually moved to Boulder City, NV where they both worked at the Atomic Energy Commission in Las Vegas, then the Environmental Protection Agency, where Ida retired as a bio-chemist. They were married for 50 happy years together.

Ida was a member of St. Sebastian Church, and enjoyed being a homemaker. She liked sewing, camping and fishing with her family, playing tennis and bowling in the EPA League.

Ida is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Nelson in 1999. She left behind her two sons Frank Nelson Jr. and Jeffrey Nelson, as well as many relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held February 03, 2018 at the Santa Paula Cemetery at 11:00am.
