Born on August 30, 1964, Rob was the son of Barbara Reid Little and Joe Randall Reid, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his maternal grandparents Hazel Teague, Benjamin Archibald Magrew, and step-grandfather Larry Teague, as well as paternal grandparents Randall and Earnestine Reid.
Rob leaves behind his daughter Jessica Davoudi (Hadi) and grandchildren Max and Leo; sons Draden and Dalton Reid; brothers Ricky and Randy Reid; sister Anna Renee; nieces Larren, Jessica, and great-niece Scout Reid; nephews Johnny, Dillon and Ben Reid, and Lucas-Garcia. He is also survived by his stepfather of 43 years, Billy Little, and Robs' former wife, Marcelle Cloutier. Rob’s extended family includes many cousins, aunts, and uncles who mourn his passing.
Rob lived with Type 1 diabetes and was a supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the University of Florida’s Camp Winona, a place where children and youth with insulin-dependent diabetes could learn to live with strength and independence. His own journey with diabetes shaped his compassion and fueled his mission to help others.
Rob was also a longtime member of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. He found great purpose in ministry and mentoring, offering hope and encouragement to those struggling. His faith, resilience, and generosity were unwavering. Whether through preaching or a quiet act of kindness, Rob was devoted to lifting the less fortunate.
A man of deep conviction and immense heart, Rob touched countless lives and will be missed. IF YOU KNOW ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH ADDICTION, PLEASE TAKE NOTE AND TRY TO HELP.
Our family gave it our best...
In lieu of cards and flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Camp Winona – University of Florida Diabetes Program ( www.floridadiabetescamp.org ), so that Rob’s passion for helping children with Type 1 diabetes may continue to inspire and support future generations.
A celebration of life has not been planned yet.
