
Charlotte W. Zwick, beloved aunt of J. Richard Matson, died May 3, 2015 in Sarasota FL at the age of 106. A native of Cleveland OH, Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin H. Zwick, only sibling, Leonore W. Matson and nephew Robert I. Matson. She was a homemaker and also employee of Bonwit-Teller in designer fashion for many years. She was admired as a lady of taste and style throughout her life. Charlotte moved to Longboat Key with her sister in 1973 and was active in many cultural endeavors including creating prize-winning ceramic decorative pieces at the Longboat Key Art Center. Needlework and bridge were also talents she enjoyed. Known for her open and positive outlook, Charlotte will be remembered by all who knew her- even for a short time. Her mantra: "Never let the small things bother you." In addition to her nephew Richard Matson, Charlotte is survived by his wife and her closest friend, Cornelia Matson, niece Judith Matson of Mt. Kisco, NY and generations of grand-nieces and nephews residing in Bloomington IN, Carrboro NC,Chicago IL, Geneseo NY, Greewich CT, Los Angeles CA, San Francisco CA, Seattle WA No memorial services will be held.
