Beloved husband of Mary Lynne for 63 years. Loving father of son Steven and daughter Lonnie. Known and loved as 'Pal' to his grandchildren Corey, Tanya, Kara Meaghan, Jenna, Taylor, Connor and great grandchildren Tristan and Ashlyn. Predeceased by his parents, J.D. and Luella, and brother Jack.
Don was born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, on March 27, 1938. He was a well-respected athlete in both hockey and baseball. He was inducted into the Sarnia Hall of Fame for both sports. Don coached the Sarnia Midget All Stars and was a Scout for the Oshawa Generals.
He had a lengthy and distinguished 42 year career with Polysar/Bayer, working in Canada, US and other destinations across the world. After retirement, Don and Mary moved to Stoneybrook in Sarasota, FL where he enjoyed golf with many of his great pals. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
