Frank T Sando Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family of Frank Thomas Sando Jr. announces his passing at the age of 92 on September 26, 2025. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He is survived by his wife Susan Sando, his children Lauren (Guy) Hummel, Melissa (Dave) Palmer, grandchildren Sam, Olivia, Isabella, Joseph and Anthony.

Born and raised in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, he graduated from Penn State University and

proudly served in the United States Army, before beginning his career of 42 years with the 3M company. Frank spent the bulk of his adult life in Minnesota, retiring in 1998, and eventually moving to Siesta Key, Florida.

Those who knew Frank will remember his quick wit, his love for always telling a joke or story and making people laugh. Frank loved talking about his kids and grandkids, who were the light of his life, along with his beloved “Susie”. Nothing delighted Frank more than spending time with his family. He instilled in those he left behind his great work ethic and his family-first mantra. Frank was a man of deep faith who always professed “Prayer Changes Things”.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Isabelle.

A private ceremony will be held with his family honoring Frank’s life.
