

Survivors include his much loved wife, Mary Agen; his daughters, Elaine (David) Wilkie, Lake Forest, CA, Louise (Bob) Hostetler, Corona, CA and Mardee Suzie (David) Kuhnash, Middletown, OH; one grandson, Marshall Hassenbeck, Portland, OR; sister, Sandi Agen, Cape Cod, MA; brother in law, Bill Thaurer, Decatur, GA, sister, Carolyn Heath Agen Kilmarnock, VA., several neces, one nephew and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by brother, John Agen and sister, Ginger Thaurer.
Mr. Agen was a graduate of Marion High School in Framingham, Massachusetts and Wayne State Macomb graduating as Industrial Engineer.
His career included: VP of Manufacturing, General Manager, and Corporate Industrial Engineering postitons for several major companies located in Illinois, Ohio and Indiana. Mr. Agen founded Wilson Window Glass & Mirror in 1977 as a State Certified General Contractor and owner, selling the business and retiring in 2019. He also held a Patent on a PVC window screen which he manufactured. He served several years on the local Contractor Licensing and Permit Advisory Board.
He was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church of Sarasota and was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Chapter 15332. He was active with the Knights of Columbus as Fourth Degree member.
He was a Marina Member of the Sarasota Yacht Club, active in boating on the "Mary Agnes", including trips to Bahamas, Key West, St Augustine and along many Florida west coast ports. He was also a member of the Sarasota Ski-a-Rees water ski show team and YMCA volunteer water ski instructor.
He enjoyed competitive water skiing, tennis, biking, raquuet ball, snow skiing and boating and will be remembered for his vibrant smile and positive attitude toward life.To him, "The glass was always half full".
Graveside services with Rites of Committal will be held on December 20, 2025 at Sarasota Memorial Park, Sarasota, Florida privately for the family.
